Suzanne is an award-winning writer who has
worked in and led newsrooms during a 20-
year media career. Suzanne has a passion for
storytelling, and her work has appeared in the
Calgary Herald, National Post, Venture Magazine
and MoneySense Magazine.

Rick is an established freelance writer and
author of the Caregiver’s Guide for Canadians

contributor in Chicken Soup for the Soul: It’s
Christmas! He has also written for Canadian
Living, Everything Zoomer.com, Edmontonians, The
Edmonton Senior and The Edmonton Journal.

A graduate of ACA (before there was a D), Carolyn
has been in the design business for over two
decades. She’s an art director, who has worked
at big agencies and won design awards. She now
enjoys the rewards of freelancing.

Montreal-based illustrator Marie-Eve is an ardent
traveller who finds inspiration in her trips abroad,
nature and everyday life. Her take on the world is
full of affection and humour, and her illustrations’
warm tones, candour and gentle whimsy set them

Dawna is an Edmonton-based freelance writer
with a special interest in health, lifestyle and
travel. The former print journalist worked as an
editor and writer for eight years with Alberta
Health Services. She regularly contributes to
Apple and pens its 50+ column, which keeps her
inspired and motivated.
