8 apple Winter 2013
I am very impressed with the fall 2012
issue of Apple as it gives such a wonderful
short and sweet synopsis of so many
important topic areas. There is a great
deal of excitement about how clearly the
magazine explains what are often difficult
concepts of early brain development. My
thanks for creating this magazine.

Wonderful, wonderful magazine. I
appreciate so much that it is available
online. Thank you.

Childhood Mapping Project, and part
of the governance team of the newly
developed, First 2000 Days Early
Childhood Network, I was delighted to
see your fall 2012 issue of Apple. Your
articles on the critical nature of the early
years, echoed our work and philosophies.
Congratulations and thank you.

I am slightly embarrassed to say
that before today, I had never opened a
copy of Apple magazine. However, after
reading one, I found it to be well written,
informative and pertinent. I look forward
to reading it next issue!

Editor’s note: Thanks to the many
people who requested thousands of
copies of Apple’s fall 2012 issue. It was
our most popular to date, and we were
pleased to share it with “new” readers in
Cold Lake, Wainwright, Lloydminster,
Okotoks, Lethbridge, Calgary, Edmonton,
Washington, D.C. and New York City. We
also shared the magazine with hundreds of
professionals in childcare, mental health,
education and the judicial system. Special
thanks to the Alberta Family Wellness
Initiative and the Norlien Foundation for
their very enthusiastic support of the issue.
