What, when, where and how weeat—and who we eat with—all affectour health. And every meal, indeedeverything we put in our mouths, isinfluenced by our environment.
Because of this, Alberta HealthServices is working to give peoplemore choices when it comes to eatingwell. We know people are—pardon thepun—hungry to learn about healthyeating based on the interest in ournutrition programs and services: fromthe food served in AHS hospitals, tothe programs we offer in communitiesacross the province.

When talking about healthy eating, Iemphasize that it is just one part of howyou take care of yourself. It’s part ofhonouring yourself and your desire tolead a healthy life, and it includes beingactive and looking after your mentalwell-being.
