An online training program from theCalgary Seniors’ Resource Societytakes 30 minutes to complete andincludes three optional 15-minutecourses on knowing the signs and risksof addictions and mental illnesses inolder adults.
The course aims to give people waysto identify and respond to these signsbefore a crisis happens.
“It takes a community to helpour most vulnerable seniors,” saysCatherine Fallon, community outreachmanager with the society.
